hi guys I will be going fishing at a lake in the shape of a horseshoe with breme and carp in it.It is the first time that I attend this lake in the winter so I don't know where to target: -on the left side of the lake it is shallow shaded with over hanging trees ect.. -on the right side it is more open with deeper water. So in the winter do I target the shallow or the deep water (in the summer there are lillies that push onto the surface ,which in the winter would be just little stalkes is this a good place.....) thanks in advance

I regualy fish at a lake where a catch a lot of carp up to 25-30 pounds with a methed feeder and a bunch of maggots i have to cast in to the same place every time but i cant put the line clip on cause it won't be able to take line what do i do

I maybe going tommorow as i live in france i looked at the weather and it cloudy shall i still try on the surface i am catching them in the lillies so should it matter?

I went fishing on thursday in a lake packed with loads of big carp I started fishing with a feeder rod and another on a boilie I didn't catch anything,and my dad didnt get anything either .But the man oposite me was catching every hour .When he got his 6th carp in I went round to see him he was floating a bit of bread crust on the surface and casting it in to the lillies feedeing cat biscuits over it .at the end of his session he came over and gave me some bread and cat biscuits he advised me fish to my lillies and i got 2 bits but missed them. How do I hook a big bit of bread crust? And when do i have to strike? THANKS ALOT BEN

Thanks for that budgie im going for the feeder because iv fished this water for 3 years and iv tried pole waggler leger iv tried everything and the thing that works for me is the feeder .For the pc should i use a fixed rig or running?

Hey guys I've got a match saturday I'am going to fish with a feeder with groundbait mixed with sweetcorn and maggot on the hook.I've got a small 15g feeder. In this lake there is loads of small 6inch catfish and some roach Any tips: (when i feeder fish if i am looking at the lake I set my rod on my right but bob nudd matt hayes all position it to the left does this matter) (+in a match is it better to use a bolt rig or running rig for these shoal fish

Hey Match rods obviously they are for matches but is it a rod for feeder fishing as well as float fishing or is it match rod feeder and match rod float rod???? I am looking to buy and all round rod help
