Hi all, Now I've got your attention and I hope the moderators let this posting through, especially as it's my first. I would like to find a fishing buddy who would be willing to take me fishing with them and let me share in the cost of your fishing trips i.e. Petrol, bait, food, tickets, etc, etc. I am in the unfortunate position of having my car off the road since August '08 and I've not been able to go fishing since. So at the moment, I don't see the point in re-newing my rod license unless I can arrange something with someone who lives locally to me. I may not be able to go with you on every trip, as I am a single parent and I obviously have commitments to my daughter. However, she does like fishing, so some times their may be two of us. I live in the Kingswood area of Bristol UK. I am 57 years of age but I don't mind fishing with anybody, younger, or older. I am basically a pleasure angler but, I wouldn't object to fishing with anyone that specialises in carp, chub, barbel, pike, etc. I am always willing to learn new skills, or for that matter, pass on what limited knowledge I have. If there is anyone amongst you who could offer a trip every now and then, I would be very grateful. Hi everyone, I've just joined today and I'm hoping to improve my fishing skills and learn all about Carp fishing. So If I ask what sounds like a stupid question, please be patient, as my knowledge on carp is next to nothing. Regards Adrian
