CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand — Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Thursday announced a national ban on all military-style semiautomatic weapons, all high-capacity ammunition magazines and all parts that allow weapons to be modified into the kinds of guns used to kill 50 people at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, last week. “What we’re banning today are the things used in last Friday’s attack,” she said, adding: “It’s about all of us, it’s in the national interest and it’s about safety.” Ms. Ardern is expected to encounter little resistance in Parliament to the weapons ban. “Today, I’m announcing New Zealand will ban all military-style semiautomatic weapons,” she said in outlining the changes. “We will also ban all assault rifles, we will ban all high-capacity magazines. We will ban all parts with the ability to convert semiautomatic or any other type of firearm into a military-style semiautomatic weapon.” “We will ban parts that cause a firearm to generate semiautomatic, automatic or close-to-automatic gunfire,” she added. “In short, every semiautomatic weapon used in the terror attack on Friday will be banned in this country.”

  10. An angler has advised me to purchase some Krill groundbait for my forthcoming angling holiday to Belturbet, Eire. I was wondering if anyone has used this type of groundbait before ? if so, any luck with it. Ive always used VDE, Sensas magic and lake, but my overall favourite has to be Dynamite Baits Marine Halibut Groundbait.

  13. Donald Tusk says a short Brexit delay is 'possible' - but that it would have a brutal condition attached. The European Council President said it would only be agreed if there was a "positive vote on the Withdrawal Agreement in the House of Commons" - something Theresa May has failed to achieve twice. He didn't rule out an emergency meeting of the 27 European leaders next week, saying he'd have "no hesitation" to call an extraordinary summit in Brussels if necessary.

As long as there is religion in this world there will be wars, mass murders in the name of god/allah. There will always be radical preachers, there will be individuals ready to do the will of his/her god whoever stands in their way. IE Norway's mass murder. People back then in 2011 said they would never have thought it could happen there, BUT IT DID !
