booked the last few days of fishing season off going to fish the rivers were i live thames loddon kennt but they seem to be out of sorts thames is very hard this season end of last year getting fish most places i went to the smaller rivers seem to fish better getting some good chubb barbel hope you all have a good last week barney

soon be last weekend hope you all have a good end to the cseason if you dont get the fish you are after just injoy being on the river as june seems a long way away old school dont fish when season findish

wont bother fishing when snow melts always found it does rivers no good what do others think worth going or not

going after some bream on sunday on the thames the river should be a good calour and droping pace just seen weather for sunday should i bother i have had vbream in cold weather before on the thames before but not with a east wind blowing my idea is that they must feed some time and i dont think any one has fish for them for a long time what do ypou think stay at home or go for it

been fishing on the thames near reading been getting some strange bites caught 1 chub the other day then had bites from some big fish bites they were not strike able bites it was like they had been hammed but i know it might have been the frist time they had seen a maggot for a long time i wonder if i should have use a big bit of meat or cheese

went on the thames saterday had some strange chub bites got one had 4 or 5 pulls but no strike able bits i have had barbel in the swim before but not chub idont think it was barbel went back today but to much rain last night bye the way fishing with maggot do you think i should have change to a bigger bait

with the weather getting warmer and wet this week do you think it we be better fishing or with all the salt bei ng washed in to the rivers it we take a while to settle down i will have a go any way
