  7. Hi Rusty, Just be wary, some of those swims are rather soft underfoot, for a classic chalkstream anyway!! Had a nice Roach chris talks about after stirring things up whilst trying to get out and trotting the edge of the coloured water. Have fun !! But be careful.... Andy
  8. Hi Chris, Looks like you made it down the following day, (Blog). Nice catch of grayling too!! Feel sure our paths will cross one of these days, Great when those larger grayling are hooked, staying deep as they do putting a pleasing bend through the rod, a real joy in these gloomy times... Andy
  9. Hi Jeff, Thanks for the reply. Looks a good working reel for someone, but I was hopeing for something to better my existing leeds. Perhaps some others may have a youngs etc. that needs the excersise? Andy
  10. Anyone wanting to pass on a working centre-pin reel to a trotting enthusiast? Make not important, narrow drum would be preferable, must be in good working order. Good home waiting, will be taken out and exercised regularly! Andy

  12. Hi Newt, Thanks for the info, Just what i wanted to know, Do you have grayling In your neck of the woods? I had a great trip to BC a couple of years ago, White sturgeon, salmon and some great fly action Nearest Ive been to heaven so far.... Andy

Just rejoined after a period of retraining for a new venture. keen to revisit the lambourne, and the southern rivers for Grayling with my sticks & 'pin.   15. Hi All, Back again after a spell of retraining for a new Business venture. Very interested in Long trotting for Grayling & Chub Only use a 'pin these days, Would welcome contact with likeminded others who share tis passion. Hampshire, Berkshire, Dorset rivers being favourite. Very freindly and sociable ! Been a while, but looking forward to meeting both old and new mates. Andy
