any ideas what I can do with 75kg of ground trout pellet, 3mm pellet, and 10mm pellets. So far all they have attracted is my cats, Tetley the dumb boxer dog, and the local field mice keep hijacking them. But no fish. Can they be flavoured, if so what with. I use the ground pellet in my ground bait mixes, but it doesnt seem to be any more effective than plain crumb. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...eestibob

carp for live bait, I see it regularly in Estonia, unfortunately the locals are a bit backward, they rig them on a rusty old treble attatched to something that looks like piano wire, all tied onto an empty coke bottle. They launch about 6 of these at a time up and down the lake and bugger off to work. Then look puzzled when they return to find all their nasty floating traps have disappeared. I hope they dont find them in my bin or I'll get lynched.

any one out there know a good home made groundbait mix for Crucian Carp. I live in Estonia, our lake has a large head of Crucians, going to 3lb plus, problem is getting them to feed, all I seem to attract is roach, bream and tench. So far I have tried various combinations of bread crumb, ground maize, wheat (whole and crushed, red worms, maggots plus some ingredients I cant pronounce ( I still dont speak the language properly). help
