  1. If like me you life in the country, ask around to see what signals are strongest in your area and where you fish the most. Then look at what is available on the best network. As Chris said, Asda payg is cheap and I believe they use the vodaphone network which has pretty good coverage.
  2. Latest and probably last news report before next weekend Middle Level on Form Written by Darren Reed Sunday, 04 September 2011 14:22 Middle level again continues to show good form at the bottom end of the level between St Germans and Neepes, Ten mile has started to show some fish in some of the old favoured hot spots. St Germans through to Neepes has again been very popular during the last seven days, bream skimmers, roach, rudd and perch all showing well in the majority of the nets reported. tip anglers finding good quality catches with nets to 50 lb again reported this week, pole anglers also finding good mixed bags on the 9-14.5 meter line, plenty of ground bait is required to hold the fish when mixed slightly dry this produces a cloud giving the fish confidence to feed, maggot worm pinkie all finding the fish, hemp and tares also starting to produce quality nets of roach, Morton's-Pingles slightly less anglers at the top end but still good sport to be had. Tench showing more at this end, supported by skimmers and roach. Nets to near 40lb have been reported at this end. Could all anglers be aware that nets have been spotted at various locations on the level if any angler spots any ropes or polystyrene floats please contact the EA or the KLAA Hotline. Gary

St Peters is between St Germans and Neeps I am hoping to bring Dale for a couple of hours in the afternoon, if not to fish then I will probably pop down to say hello at least. Gary
  5. Based on my pants performance last weekend and now a free wildcard I would say yes. But still accept it if the majority (top half of the table) disagree.
  6. Same here, won't progress from the log in page. Anyway, all sorted and rareing to go. COYS
  7. It may be too far for you, but Woodlakes near me always seem to be popular. http://www.woodlakes.com/index.html North Norfolk coast isn't that far for a bit of beach fishing or the seaside etc. Gary
  8. http://www.klaa.co.uk/fisheries/middle-level-south Hi Mark Above link shows all the middle level areas. I hope this helps Gary
  9. Looking good Mark, date looks free at the moment, I'm sure Dale will be up for a couple of hours on the river bank. Appreciate all the hard work you are putting in, it can't be easy. When finally picking the venue just remember you can't please all the people all the time. Just go with what you feel you and the majority will want, there will always be someone who would prefer somewhere different.
  10. How many biggies is that now that have recently moved on to the big lake in the sky? Is this normal in carp circles or starting to get suspicious
  11. Depending on where and when I will try to pop along with Dale
  12. For some it is, for most a past time or hobby
  13. Mr Plod assisted by the complete Bomb Disposal family. Hopefully prosecuted party will have this removed shortly all being well. The unfortunate issue that Rob is inferring to, has taken the shine of caching for Dales family, but hopefully this will make other police forces more aware of the sport and this issue will not happen again and we will be back hunting again shortly. Although we have friends who live near Glasgow we have never cached there so not sure what the standard of caches are like and the hardness of them. If you pm me your postcode Andy, I can look at the nearest and give hints on the ones we would go for i.e. easier ones.
  14. Sat navs can be used but I rate them at no 3 on accuracy, 1st being a handheld gps such as a garmin etrex and 2nd an iphone with an app So if you are looking at urban micro/nano/undefined caches I would recommend a good gps unit Rural large or regular caches don't need to be as accurate as they are generally easier to find Good Luck
  15. Hello Andy If you need any help give me a shout as my family are avid cachers Gary
