  1. Great pics Steve, shame you blanked but the experience must have been amazing. A fish in there sounds like a great idea, i remember rowing on one of the lakes there years ago but they don't allow that now and I don't think it's the lake you can fish from.
  2. Thanks for the useful replies!
  3. Thanks Newt, they do sound very good. Sorry, one final question, do the float/sink/neutral buoyancy? i.e. are they just meant to be used in conjunction with floating lines or can they be used with intermediate/sinking lines also? From what I've read it seems floating lines are the most appropriate so I assume that is because they float also.
  4. Hello? Sorry to be persistant but I still don't know what a furled leader is for exactly?
  5. Sounds lovely, is there a good head of Grayling throughout the river or are they very localised? To echo Rich's question, where would you suggest for trotting for the Grayling?Would love to get a 2lber! Cheers
  6. Very nice fish Worms! Out of interest, who controls the fishing on the Lugg? It looks a very nice river.
  7. Could someone possibly explain what exactly a furled leader is and why you would use one over a tapered leader? Thanks
  8. Well done to all that caught although obviously it was the taking part that counts the most! Would love to be involved in the next fish in. Certainly agree that 2 trips to the LI would be a good call.
  9. Me too and yes it's pretty addictive! Not as good as the real thing obviously though!
  10. Well how did you all get along on the LI then??

    Hello

Hello, Finally got round to joining the AnglersNet forum after reading so many useful articles on the site and it being recommended to me by my fishing pal JV44. Do most of my fishing around the Reading area as well as around Bath. Have recently become a bit of a centrepin/trotting enthusiast and part of my reason for joining was the fact that there seems to be many other experienced centre pin users on this site! Nick
