Only 3 weeks to go until the salmon season on the clyde starts. Am looking for a permit for the clyde. Does anyone know when they are on sale? Dose the clyde permit cover the River kelvin too? thank you

So there is this angling club in Glasgow. They have been in existance since 1992. They have a club website and a forum. Muggins here is a card-carrying paid up member of the club and wanted to know a bit more about its organisation, such as what the club constitution is and the likes. (members aren't given a copy of the constitution and it isn't on the official club website) via the forums they announced the club AGM date and venue. They said that the ammendments to the club constitution and the new rules "which have been agreed" will be presented to the membership !!!! ( I have no idea who agreed them !) So much for a democracy!!! I have asked about the election (or is it appointment?) of the committee, I have asked how long their tenure is and I have asked for the procedures pertaining to raising issues at the AGM. The result? - They have banned me from the forums and locked them to non members. Have any of you guys who are of more mature age heard anything as blatantly WRONG as this? Cheers.
