    Mat Thanks for the reply - day ticket to begin with, I'd take a recommendation on Carp and general coarse fishing. Since starting back i've caught mostly shoaling Bream and Carp (common and mirror) I do drive, normally go with a mate, so two plus a car. I have fairly basic kit but the rod is nice (10ft). Just off A12 and A127 so eary for em to commute into Essex proper. Any recommendations?

    New to the forum, recently taking fishsing back up after a long break. What are the best places near Romford Essex for me to get back into general coarse fishing. Looking for some where you can catch fish regualry to build up confidence and skills assumi9ng a pretty much novice starting point.
