  1. Whats going on with Ebay buyers and sellers?? and the Feedback etiquette that used to be not too bad...I had closed my account about three years ago, but due to the amount of shi....great stuff I have accumulated, decided to open another account.

I sold the said shi...great stuff, customers paid, and as per I used to do...., I left good positive feedback....I've also bought a lot of new Shi....great stuff, but barely 70% of the sellers have left me feedback...

To my thinking, it smacks of them not being convinced in the shi....great stuff they sell...tho, always in the advert, its the greatest shi....great stuff on the planet...:)

SO, from now on, on my messages to sellers, I'll be telling them, I will NOT be leaving feedback for them, till I have good feedback.

Gawd, I feel better for that wee rant...Thanks guys...:)

  2. Thanks guys, much appreciated...I opened it to gather the spends for my Portugese holiday this year...and just wondered about it..

BTW, Chesters, Guess what ?, just bought an Intrepid Seastreak!!!! It's started again mate....:)

  3. Hiya, I closed my Ebay acc about three years ago, but have now opened another...

Can anyone tell me why and when they started the 10 items or £650 a month ( whichever comes first) rule??? Not that I'm going to be doing that amount, but just being nosy...:)

    Thanks guys...:)

  4. Good to have you back Norrie - remember those trips out of Lochaline ?

    ..and this ? attachicon.gifFishbar.jpg

We are still fishing, although mainly staying on land these days.

Hi Dave, yep mate, remember them well....great times, and remember the BBQ's you and Norma organised, Boar and pigeon....followed by strawberries in chocolate...we were spoilt...

I'm not fishing so much nowadays, but, looking at another boat this spring, if all goes well.I went and got my FAC,and SGC, so, now it's mainly shooting....making my own sausages and burgers with the deer, pigeon and rabbits that I shoot....

    Love to Norma...:)

  5. Blast from the past, and I'm still using your shimano speedmaster reel that you flogged me a few years ago.

  6. Hi Guys...Good to be back, but, I did notice a while ago, that AN was getting quieter....which is a real shame...it was def THE best angling forum on the net at one time...:(

Anyway, I'm here now, so, great to hear from you...:)

BTW, I'm having problems getting into the site, using what I know to be my username and password, each time I have to log in, the site makes me change my password.....any ideas!!!!

BTW, Chesters, I bought an Intrepid SeaStreak reel at an auction last week....gawd knows why, but once i got the green stuff off it,opened the guts and cleaned it, it works perfectly well, might couple it to a wee spinning rod for Mackeral in the summer....:)

  7. Thanks Andy, i used the freeby, not game to try the pro but it has made my friends PC a lot faster--lots of junk there was.

will run it on mine later

    Cheers Fred

Hi CT, No problems at all with using Pro...just install and it does the rest mate..

It's so good, one IT chap I know, is using Glary to "clean" his way through all his works PC's...he loves it..:)

  8. Gunnel, aka butterfish Pholis gunnellus

Likewise, caught many on the rocky parts of Cromer Beach in the 1940s - not very common on the South Coast though.

    They dunnarf wriggle :)

Hi Dave..Hope you and Norma are well....when I used to do the charters for Cod off the east coast of Scotland, we reularly caught cod stuffed with Butterfish....so, went and caught some for bait, never got a thing on them?? any ideas?? :)

  9. or anywhere near!!!!!!! :huh::huh::huh:

Hiya, Theres not a lot of us North of the Border type anglers on AN...you will be better trying on WSF and going to the Scotland forum....masses of info there..:)

Elton, hope you dont mind me replying with this matey... :P:P

  10. Hi guys..Well, the time has come to sell the boat....no reason other than me losing interest, and not getting out on her...only twice last year!! :(

This is just to test the water before the final polish up....

Shes a Seahog Shortie, in very good nick...talk of Nick, it was owned by Nickinthenorth, and before him, the late great Alan Taylor... :D

Shes a 1995 Seahog Shortie, fitted with a 2002 Mariner 50HP four stroke, which is also in tip top nick, which is quiet, fast and VERY economical to run... it will be serviced before sale goes through... . all the toys, a new 5150c Lowrance GPS, DSC Radio, and a Lowrance top of the range Mono FF...Plenty of extras, too many to list here in this rushed ad...and that all sits on a Roller Coaster 1 trailer, which will take the boat anywhere you need to tow it...it'll even recover her on a dry beach...

She's fast, stable and will certainly do the job you want.... :D

Loads of deck space..I've had Common Skate to 176lbs aboard her...

I could poss del anywhere in the UK for the cost of fuel, but would have to discuss this with potential buyers first.

Proper full ad will be up on this and other forums soon. With a complete inventory and pics...

I'm really sad to be letting her go, ( Davy Holt keeps telling me not to sell her ..:) )..but I now have another hobby to take over my life., and this will hopefully finance it..

Any trial, no bother, but serious contenders , please get in touch first please...

I want £4K OVNO for her....

Heres a wee pic to wet yer appetite...lots of work been done to her since this was taken, new screen, hatches etc....alien-one3.jpg

  11. Hope thats the only sinking that this guy ( Cameron ) is connected to.,....:)

"A spokesman for the owners, Jubilee Fishing Company, was unavailable for comment.

Last Wednesday, director Dave Johnson hosted Conservative Party leader David Cameron on the Intrepid's sister boat the Jubilee Spirit."

  12. on glary utilities there are other tools that come with it other than the system scan. look at the tabs up the top, theres 1 click maintenance and other options have a look at some of them and you should understand ;)

Hi Andy, Just spent the last hour playing with Glary....and cleaned out LOADS of junk..:)..what a great wee bit of software..:)

    Thanks again mate.

  13. theres even more system optimization tools and memory optimization so you can tweak things and make it that wee bit more faster

Whooooooosh, Right over my head Andy....can you explain please mate ?..:)

I'm still impressed with that Glary stuff too..:)

  14. probably not a virus problem so those programs might not do the trick. more likely to be a performance issue.

what you want is a program to clear up you're files, temp folder, cache, startup etc etc.

i like to use glary utilities, there is a free edition or a pro edition, pro aint free but can be if you catch me drift

    http://www.glaryutilities.com/

Andy...Thanks for your reply, I was starting to think it was just me that couldnt use the PC properly.....:).....anyway, managed to "borrow" a copy of Glary Pro ;) , did the full system scan.....and ....geezus, its better than when I first bought the PC....:)

The laptop is getting it tomorrow..:)
