  1. My friend and I have made the long (but well worth it) journey from Sheffield up to Loch Awe every year for the past 4 years, we originally were interested in the fly fishing but over last winter we got the piking bug big time and am now keen to make our trip up north once again this autumn but this time to try our luck for pike. We have camped by the Loch everytime and have been blessed with great weather; if not great numbers of fish in our nets. I know that good advice on the good spots to pike fish are like rocking horse #### but can anyone reccomend any spots for us? We'd be camping again and am totally self sufficient; leave only footprints and take only photos style!! Cheers
  2. Hi guys I'm a keen angler and have been to Loch Awe for the past two years with my friends to enjoy a bit of the wilderness experience while trying to catch myself a trout or two! However for the past few years I've not bee all that successful, we travel a long way to get to the Loch (8hrs) and would love to maximise my chances of getting a pull or two! Can anyone reccomend a few good spots for catching trout off the bank and are those locations any good for camping (2 small tents max). Cheers
