  1. It is not the European Union it is Merkels Festung Europa. Every decision made has Merkel lurking in the shadows. Greece is cowed due to German domination, the French although they claim they are equal do in fact occupy the same position as Mussolini's Italy in the axis union. What Hitler failed by force of arms Merkel achieved via the pen and Euro....... I hope she had washed her backside before Cameron went licking it..... Mind you I do sincerely feel sorry for the European women who were subjected to serious sexual assaults perpetrated by those "poor refugees" or those two pensioners attacked for trying to save a woman on a train from another migrant attack. Poor refugees my A*se I would throw them back in the sea after what they've done without a boat or life jacket. I say leave the EU, we never had a choice to even accept entry, and you watch how quickly a new Atlantic wall is built. Federal Europe will not be allowed to die and Germany is now too powerful and too in control to be defeated. My Grandfather would be rolling in his grave right now....He warned in 1947 that the American plan to rebuild Germany would lead to the creation of the Fourth Reich...was he right?
  2. I know a young Junior Doctor who has not had a single day off in 10 days working 16 hours per day on average, she is on rota for this weekend and her first day off will be Monday. She works in A&E. This young Doctor looks like death and makes life or death decisions with every patient she sees however tired she is. Given that in the UK a football player can earn hundreds of thousands of pounds per week for kicking a sack between 2 sticks why do we not give our Doctors what they want, good wages and fair working practices. In Australia and New Zealand Doctors are treated better and many UK trained Doctors go there. Instead of spending £3 billion to build a single weapon to kill spend £3 billion fixing a broken NHS service and instead of having hundreds of managers sucking from the tit go back to the systems that work. Might help make Hospitals safer for patients with regard to MRSA and other superbugs. Tories want to kill the NHS and Labour were incompetent in their management of it, the NHS should be ring-fenced from meddling Politicians and members of staff should be treated like royalty. In my opinion they deserve nothing less. When your 4 month old child with meningitis relies on these Doctors, as mine did, will the Doctors really be fit enough to treat effectively if they are exhausted?? Jeremy Hunt should hang his head his shame, he is saying " I am right and you are wrong." Even though the number of those he declares as wrong is in the thousands.
  3. Well I have now finally sorted the problem. :yahoo:The problem is somewhere in a Windows Update. I have used Microsoft and Tech Guy forums to try to sort this problem, to no avail.....Each forum stated that Windows Update could not have affected my system. So after speaking to a UK computer technician with over 40 years experience I have done the following and to date have reversed all problems: I did a full format of my Hard Drive, using advanced settings on my Windows 7 installation disc, before installing Windows 7 Home Premium again. This time whilst installing I deactivated the automatic Windows Update instruction, installed my security software before activating my wireless link, set up my wireless link, manually installed all drivers from disc, manually updated Direct X. In fact everything I needed I manually installed leaving the Windows update side deactivated. I have been advised to only install Windows Updates that I recognise and need after identifying the purpose of each update. Some updates are not even needed despite windows notifications and the updates can cause more problems than they are supposed to fix. I now have a perfect running system, which is running much faster, I have full Administrator Privilege for every programme and game I wish to use. The Administrator account has vanished from login and I am not plagued with the Update to Windows 10 message. So as Mr Holmes said: "How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?" Something in the Windows Update affects certain programmes for Windows 7.
  4. Okay. Well it goes like this. Have completely reinstalled my Windows 7 Home Premium account and tried again after all attempts to resolve have failed. I have 2 active accounts, one is the administrator account and the second a standard user account. Each time I try to play the game from my Administrator account I get the following message: Please login with administrator privileges and try again. I thought I already had these privileges...
  5. Thank you Newt for the information. I am going to check this out this evening and will keep you posted.
  6. I have Win 7 installed and I am the only account holder on my system with administrator status. However, since a recent Windows update I must now log in as administrator to run certain programs,I have gone through account status settings and even though I am administrator Windows recommended status for my account is now standard user. I have no idea why I am no longer empowered to run programs. Has anyone come across this before and is there a fix?
  7. Thank you Cory some great maps on here and I have set to downloading them. I also had the good fortune of finding an old flash drive hidden in a box that still had the old maps stored upon it. So, if there is anyone else still playing this game and you need some of the older skirmish maps, 2004-2007, please message me and I will be more than happy to share.
  8. Due to my system being hacked I lost all my unofficial skirmish maps when reinstalling Windows, so I am wondering if anyone would know where I can go to download them again? The old download platforms seemingly no longer exist, I know the game is over 10 years old but my younger son loves it. Twilight flame, Trenches etc etc.. If anyone can help....??
  9. Who here does not believe Germany calls the shots? Greece is now in the pocket, the power of the pen triumphs over Blitzkrieg.
  10. Once again we have Germany at the centre. Everyone, with a brain cell, knew that at the very start it was the initial stages of the formation of a federal Europe under German eyes and domination. This is why Germany lent to Greece so freely. I mean who lends 65 billion to a country that cannot prove it can pay back unless you have another motive. Once indebted Greece has no choice but to toe the line, no matter how much they protest and behave because beyond that it would be the complete collapse of the Greek economy and way of life. The bag is drawn ever closer and the strings are drawn even tighter. Maybe this is the beginning of the Fourth Reich? Look at all the European economies, who has the strongest, who dictates?
  11. Germany will not allow Greece to leave the EU much in the same way it was telling Ireland it got the vote wrong when voting against the Lisbon treaty. Sorry Ireland please try again. Germany has once before tried to unify Europe by the point of a sword, now it is using the power of currency. The more in debt the easier it is to dominate. Perhaps Germany wants to rekindle old aims?
  12. Yeah, been there too. Took an infuriating 8 weeks to resolve a problem that B.T Openreach identified in 8 hours, namely that a B.T Openreach engineer placed me on a capped connection @ 96kbps whilst repairing an exchange forgetting to put me back to the correct connection when he had finished. Even though I knew what had happened and B.T Openreach knew it was a case of submitting speed test after speed test until an appointment could be made for an Engineer. For future note, B.T have two levels of advisors so always request a level 2 as they are the only ones who can view call logs and engineer reports, the trick then is to get them to act on the information quickly.
  13. If he'd had been that and more at home maybe his wife wouldn't be banging his cousin...
  14. Sunday, my wife lost her phone in a taxi and it could not be traced. Monday I use O2 live help to block her sim and to organise a replacement. All good...so you think. The advisor, from some far off eastern land, assured me all would be well and the block was supposedly placed on my wife's account. Today, all of a sudden my mobile account was blocked not the one that belongs to my wife. I used O2 live help again and was asked if I was using my new sim yet, to which I replied " I did not request one." The idiot of an eastern advisor who dealt with me yesterday blocked my account and organised a replacement sim card for my account even though transcript shows he had been asked to block the account owned by my wife. Transcript shows he even acknowledged the block was only for my wife's account. The moral of the story, if you have an O2 issue and live in the UK don't use online live help, the advisors don't know their rectums from their elbow.
  15. Give a copy of the photograph to the people who control car parking at Sainsburys supplying date and time. I am reliably informed that she will received a ticket. I saw an old guy yesterday insulted by a female after telling her that disabled bays are for people with disabilities. I couldn't believe her reply, "Do you think I'm f***ing blind?"....
  16. Well the elite will have their Bio-Domes and those of lesser standing will do their bidding. Masters and servants. Those with the power today will look and say, "Well it will not happen in my lifetime." and the roundabout will continue. When it is all gone people will lament and the roundabout will continue again. People are stupid, we are the only species to deliberately destroy the very thing that keeps us alive. Like turning off the ventilator until you can no longer breathe and laughing whilst you do it. At least when we are all extinct the planet will have a chance again, until the Sun dies anyway.

  18. Is Windows 10 comparable to 8 and 8.1 or something new? I detest 8 and 8.1 so if it is I will stick with 7.
  19. The problem wasn't the pilot leaving the cockpit but the fact he could not get back in. There should be a keypad with a pin so that a member of the crew could gain access to the cockpit should an emergency arise. I always thought that there were 3 crew members in the cockpit...
  20. Dear Lain. If you need £3 so badly wash a car for it then at least I'll know you did honest Labour to get it.
  21. Spitting Image....fantastic....brings back many memories. As to our Mr Spock......he came back once before after death.....so who knows.
  22. Windows 8.1 is a pain in that some programs that function well on 8 don't work on 8.1. If you don't have to update then leave it in my honest opinion. I had to revert my Sons laptop back from 8.1 to 8 when some of his college programs refused to work.
  23. The seller is a private individual. My recourse, or so I thought, was to get the seller to claim using PayPal buyer protection but Paypal decided I had received the goods solely down to the fact the order was supposedly signed for. CCTV and a chip and pin transaction puts me 3.5 miles away at the very time of the delivery, remembering too the courier left a while you were out card, yet Paypal did not want this evidence and didn't even bother to view the signature. A recent Paypal comment was " You don't see the Paypal logo on the couriers van, do you?" So what is the point of Paypal buyer protection when it clearly does not protect the buyer?
  24. Just thought I'd add to this to update. Might be something UK users might need to know. The issue still remains unresolved. The Courier has admitted to leaving the order in an unsafe location and forging my signature yet so far there is no recourse for me. Parcelforce state the sender must make the claim, however because of the forged signature the sender and Paypal believe the item received. The sender refuses to contact and Paypal refused to provide a means for me to pass on the evidence. Even though a senior Parcelforce manager confirmed the findings Parcelforce claims will not contact him at his depot. To date it is now in the hands of a Director, who I had to contact myself. So to conclude: The courier admitted to leaving the item in an unsafe location and forging my signature. Paypal do not have any recourse when fraud is in alleged to be in play nor do they seemingly care as they are unwilling to provide a means for the evidence of fraud to be forwarded to them. Parcelforce claims have no means to compensate the recipient nor do they seemingly wish to communicate with senior management when said management can confirm the fraud. The Parcelforce Director is now strangely silent. Makes you wonder doesn't it. My last option is the Police who are seemingly keen to take this...
