  1. Hi Everyone, I've just purchased a perception Caster 12.5 S O T kayak. Over the last few days I've had it sitting on my lawn while I'm sorting out all the extra kit and permanent storage. Yesterday I put in the front storage bay my new trolly, seat , thigh straps etc because rain was forecast so just thought I'd keep them out of the elements, An hour or so ago I went to put a few more items in the storage bay but to my surprise there was a few inches of water inside ??? I know that it was bone dry yesterday and we did have a little heavy rain last night and today but nothing major so I'm really confused how this volume of water could of got inside. I've not drilled any holes or unscrewed anything so I know I haven't done anything to it. I've read that the screw hatches are not fully water tight but I can't believe that they would allow this volume of water in ? it's not as if these area would be submerged with rain. I'm going to call the center where I brought it from in the morning but just wondered if any one has any advice on it. I'm really not happy has I've spend a small fortune on extra kit in anticipation of getting it out on the water over the next few days and now i'm thinking that if that much water gets in from the rain, what will happen when its on the river or sea ? The other problem is I had to call in a favor to get it delivered home as I'm awaiting for my roof rack to be delivered so should I expect the center to come out and check it over or should I have to get it back to them for them to look at it. Either way I'm not impressed. I know it's not anyones fault as such but it's a major pain in the ass and not something I expected from a brand new kayak before even taking out on the water. I'm rambling with frustration now, any advice or opinions welcomed.... Phil
