    {makes mental note to self: never change anything on a website on a Friday again. EVER!}

    I'd never intended the forum upgrade to take place on a Friday, especially after a day offline due to the number of posts that had to be transferred. It's completely screwed this weekend up, as I've had hundreds of forum-related questions to answer.

    Nearly all of them could have been sorted with the password reset facility, mind you

    It's satisfying when somebody who was struggling to get back in finally makes it, though. This has been as much a learning curve for me as it has been for everyone else - probably more so, as this software doesn't come with a reference manual (unless it does, but I can't find it )

    Oh well, back to work tomorrow, packing parcels. Ho hum....

    (entry written Friday 11th - must remember to hit the 'Publish' button next time!!)

    I had every intention of entering stuff to this blog every day or so, but it's been manic. I promise to try harder next month!

    I'm now about to shoot home to prepare some stuff for a grayling trip with some forum members tomorrow. Then it's up at 4am for a 400 mile round trip. Should be worth it, though, as Timsbury is a great place.

    Just hope we land some fish! If we do, be sure to check out the gallery section

    Afterthought: it's a good job it's grayling I'm after and not carp tomorrow - takes me the best part of a day to sort my carp gear!!!!!

    Okay, so technically it's only Thursday, but I'm gifting myself a long weekend.

    Just got today to get through - mainly to be spent packing and despatching parcels. For my sins, I sell a few bits of tackle at http://www.tackle-auctions.com and my main business is giftware, http://www.collectorsgifts.com

    My mate, Ed, and his nutty misses, Lou, are leaving Liverpool at about 1pm and heading down to our little village in Suffolk. They'll be down until Sunday.

    It has been suggested that the odd beer or two will be drunk and that we may 'go out'. 'Going out' is something that seems to happen less and less these days - pressures of work, family and being in a village, I suppose.

    Looking forward to an exhausting break - I bet I'll be cream-crackered by Monday! LOL
