Cheers it makes all the blanked sessions seem worthwile

Caught my second river carp last night she was stunning blemish free. Taken on a boilie bolt rig at 9.15 pm.

When i go chubbing i like to float cubes of spam, as deep as possible without snagging

It was bang on 20lb,my mate was baited up for a carp i was going for bream really.

cheers mate it was,my mate has got more photos on his phone so hopefully he might have some better ones(fingers crossed) im going out again tonight so ill try to catch another one "LOL"

Yeah its in the town centre came away from the bank to get under a street light for photos

Ive been trying lots of different baits and think ive also found a good un,mixing sugar with breadcrumb as a groundbait i dont think they like the sweetness but the other important fish do

On my local stretch of river the eels are everywhere and keep taking my baits on the bottom, is there anything they wont eat(greedy sods),Anyone else sufer from this problem? cheers Pete

Hi mate i recently got hold of a small fibreglass boat aswell, IF you want to 100% legal I think you need to license the boat about £20,I say this because a friend of mine was in a kayak yesterday and he got collared getting out of the river at Huntingdon by the Enviroment Agency and they said any any water going craft needs to be licensed!!! My advice is mate save your £20 towards a good comfortable life jacket..

Hi all, ive just recently started fishing again after a break of about 10 yrs, a friend and i want to TRY and catch as many different types of fish as we can out of the river around St Ives,We have a small boat at stives so Earith to Huntingdon is about our boundaries, Has anybody got any experience of the local areas? Does anybody know if Barbel are present on this stretch of the ouse? Any opinions on fishfinders(is it worth getting one?) Any info gratefully recieved Tight lines Peter
