  2. Hi mark thanks for the info i will pass this on to me mate ECK he is going in April we are both members of the Scottish carp group the place look very tranquil ,are there any night time visitors like Muskrat ,wolfs etc . i have been preparing all my gear as i go like my sat nav there's a new law now in force in France sat navs with speed camera info must either be updated so that they show danger zones and not camera locations or disabled on the sat navs memory settings before you enter France (€1500 fine) & from about march you must carry a breathalyser kit not the uk standard 0.08 but the european standard 0.05 (€15-20 fine) i got me some leads 1/2 oz made up but the look on the blokes face (what a picture)when i said i was using them for carp fishing , he must have thought i was mad. thanks again for the info good luck in may. cheers Pete
  3. just a pitty you guys dont stay north of the border up here we have the Scottish carp group waters 6 of them for £45 per year 3 rod limit no EA licence plus a 1 off £5 joinging fee the waters might not be on the same scale as some of those down south , up here a 20lb fish is a great catch the record is just over 30lb , but the fish here are in my opinion better fighting fish and some what harder to catch.

  17. A little boy was sitting on the footpath with a bottle of Turpentine. He was shaking it up and watching all the bubbles. A Priest came along and asked the little boy what he had. The little boy said, 'This is the most powerful liquid in the world; it's called Turpentine.' The Priest said, 'No, the most powerful liquid in the world is Holy Water. If you rub it on a pregnant woman's belly, she'll pass a healthy baby.' The little boy replied, 'If you rub turpentine on a cat's arse, he'll pass a Harley Davidson !'
