Hi mate it depends on which estuary mouth your talking about the forth is about 3 miles wide at the mouth but you have a choice of the (edinburgh side ) the almond at cramond for flatties sea trout etc . the esk at musselburgh for flatties sea trout salmon etc the tyne near dunbar sea trout flatties etc . if your in edinburgh drop into mikes tackle shop main street portobello just about oposite the police station good advice given there or if its carp fishing there dudingston loch within holyrood park edinburgh free permit available ot the park rangers station carp /pike /roach/ perch . good luck for any more info on scottish carp fishing visit HERE
