I have just started fishing at a commercial called fields farm in Sanbach Cheshire. I keep getting pestered by really small perch and rudd. How do i intice the bigger fish?

This maybe a stupid question but i am going to ask it anyway. My local commerical does not allow Trout pellets? are these a specific type of pellet, so could ordinary course pellets be used? What makes the trout pellet different to any other??

Does anyone kow any good angling clubs in the crewe area?

Im thinking of taking my six year old son fishing this weekend and wondered what would be the best thing to get him? would it be 3m whip or a float rod. I have seen one on Chapmans site with with a 3m leeda whip and all the bits even a little landing net for £9 Any one know of any decent starter kits???
