  1. Can not seem to find any information it might of been deleted from the database
  2. Hi has anybody got any information on the stour in canterbury. I know there are barbel there as i have seen them behind asda but not sure how to catch them (they seem very shy) if anybody knows this river (stretch) or knows anything about primarily barbel fishing please can you help here, I was thinking about using a load of maggots on a hook, brandling worms, meat, salami, sweetcorn etc. also maybe a dead minnow? much appreciated! 3. where abouts on the len is this swin denso?
  4. Tangler there must be somemot i am doing wrong then, i do notice though when i normally fish it it is normally merky i have tried lots of baits close in and quite often dont have a bite all day, only shitty little ens on bits of maggots or worms i dunno, have you fished the lakes in larkfield?
  5. forgot to mention that the darent is a bloody nice river to fish in, unlike the medway and if your from tenterden have you ever fished the stour in canterbury? i have seen some decent barbel and chub on certain days
  6. Hi dansmudge Im afraid is mostly me making bad comments on the river medway. i have fished it many times at yalding and only caught one half decent fish there, however next to yalding bridge is a small feeder river called the lesser tease and walking further up i have spotted a few decent chub but you have to be careful not to spook them. if you want to fish in a river where you can see the fish and there is more skill and in my opinion fun involved, then try the river darent between shoreham and farningham which is closer to London than the medway, it is near swanley, its only a small river but there is alot of chub there and i have SEEN chub to 5lb plus, the trick is finding them then using stealth and technique! best of luck!
  7. hi does anyone know any good stretches of this river to fish, i had a look today behind Asda car park and down the river to the centre of the city, it looked a decent river to fish but i only saw the odd good chub, any knowledge will be appreciated cheers!
  8. i av just com back from de eemhof one of the centre parcs in central holland on the zeelder sea shitloads of places to fish dykes, lakes everywhere drought at the moment is causing the carp to suffer, so hard fishing but i did catch a lot of perch, bream and roach during the day and in the evening caught carp on floating bread crust. just be warry of the mosquitos
  9. i was going to fish one of the larkfield lakes today and bring a m8 along? can he just come along and fish? it is not going to be a serious carp session just only for coarse fish.
  10. hi m8 i have a new rule book to most i think because it doesnt mention anything about guests. whats the deal then? tia
  11. hi i recently became a member of mid kent fisheries, it does not say however if you are allowed to bring any 'guests' along. are any of you lot members and no what their policy is, i would phone him but he seems like he will get arsy with me. thanks
