  2. Hi, just wondered if anyone had fished the day ticket lake at this venue and any info to share? I understand ther are supposed to be some big Roach in this water and wondered wether they would feed now the winter is on the way. Cheers, Steve.

  4. Hi, I have one of the above chairs, which is great for carrying distances, but of late the locking mechanisms on the extendable legs has started to fail. I've had a look at the mechanism but can't see a way of fixing the problem. Has anybody come across the same problem?I did send Wychwood an email but got no reply.Other than bin it and purchase a new chair [different make] I don't know what to do. If I decide to purchase a new one, any recommendations? Cheers, Steve.
  5. Hi, I,ve got a week booked [end of this month] at this venue. They have a small lake which is available to guests. Is there anybody out there who has fished this venue? I could do with any advice re; baits, rigs etc for carp fishing.Many thanks. STEVE
  6. Cheers fistech, just looked at the Ribchester & District site, looks like its 'dead mens' shoes to get a meembership. You are right about the Wye the scenery is outstanding and the fishing too, when you get it right[ height & a drop of colour] Was down there last week, few miles down stream of Ross on Wye, managed just the one at 6lbs on the pellett. Still early in the season, Sept. Oct usually best. Any way tight lines.Steve

  10. Hi, just joined the site. I am going to be staying near Clitheroe, Lancs. in couple of weeks time. I am looking to find some day ticket stretches on the Ribble and I hope to target Chub & Barbel. I am used to fishing the Severn, Teme and Wye. Any info,regargarding possible stretches, bait and tatics would be much appreciated. CHEERS STEVE.
