The Pike Anglers Club are pleased to announce that Mark Green has been awarded the Pike Angler of the year. The Regional Organisers Award is a joint one and is awarded to Micky Jones and Rab Hay. The Presidents Shield has been awarded to Eric Edwards. The PAC would like to take the opportunity in congratulating our award winners and to thank them for all there hard work on behalf of the PAC.

The PAC are pleased to announce the appointment of our first National Fisheries Protection Officer. As confirmation of the NEW PAC committees, positive and pro-active stance on this emotive and serious issue, retired police officer Mark Leathwood has been appointed PAC's first National Fisheries Protection Officer. Mark will be available to advise members regarding how to tackle problems in their area, and provide valuable input later this year into the workshop planned to create a Fishery Protection Model for application anywhere in the UK. You can Find Mark on Facebook or, in due course, via the PAC website. Education and integration may well be the long-term answer - but in the short-term prosecutions are required. Mark's appointment will; help us all achieve that. Our fisheries around the country are being decimated in so many ways and it's hoped this will be the first step it addressing the situation
