Phone that's good to hear I'm going for my first proper carp session on Sunday. I've got loads of things to include in my mix. Also from what you say it doesn't seem like I could go much wrong. What is your opinion on the water to use for groundbait. Some people say to use distilled other day water from the venue. Could rainwater be used? Carp91

For the first 6 months of fishing I went with a rod and some spare hooks nice and simple. It's when trying for bigger carp now I find myself bringing baits, boxes two rods the list goes on.

Does this then mean that the longer the rig, they're more chance of catching a bigger carp??

Great way to prove the size. Getting the kids interested early is essential, leave it until they're too old and if they don't catch anything they get **** off.

What about different flavours for mixing with groundbaits. Do people use thinks like halibut intense for carp fishing?
