  6. thanks for the links mate, obviously my posts are some what delayed due to being under probation I don't mind investing a little more in a decent sized pole then i can use it on my own of help her go a bit further a field the net and handle are perfect, I will have a good look at them now thanks again, Dave

    hello :)

Thanks very much, cant wait to get back too it
  8. I totally agree, My thoughts were to use my existing pole as a whip for her and full size for me... As i found out it had been reversed over by a ford fiesta and now shows a lovely crack right down the middle of every section. so my thought was to try get hold of a simple but decent quality pole and like you said use the end as a whip, we would only be using one "rod" as she is too young anyway. as far as catching small fish is concerned there are a few pegs at my local fishing spot dedicated to newbies and kids on the canal where small perch, roach and tench are usually a plenty thanks for the heads up on the net, I need all the help i can get. Many thanks, Dave

hello chaps new to the forum, i'm hopefully getting back into fishing and have posted a question in course fishing section. thanks in advance guys Dave
  10. Hello everyone, My name is David, I'm new to the site and would like to ask for some advice I took my daughter for a walk around the my old fishing spot at the weekend and i was surprised by her enthusiasm about wanting to give it a go. i'm not new to fishing but stopped around 6 or 7 years ago so some of my tackle is a bit outdated i was hoping you guys could give me some advice. I do fish with a rod and line but also used a pole ( leeda zoo creature ) which unfortunately has been damaged beyond repair would anyone be able to recommend a decent sized pole similar to this one ? I think i payed around £100 and its been a cracking pole. also i'm after an extendable landing net handle and net. I'm a bit out of the loop on where to shop for these items, so if anyone could offer any advice on that i would be truly grateful. thanks again, David
