  6. Fortunately I have a day off work tomorrow so was planning a trip to Suffolk Water Park with my feeder rod and method feeder tackle. Looking at the venue rules they state NO FIXED RIGS. Can anyone enlighten me as to whether the Method Feeder is a FIXED RIG. I don't think it is as it can detach if required, but I don't want to set off without knowing. Help please ? Thanks Ali

  8. I have recently started method feeder fishing but being a novice was not sure which size method feeder bits to use. My rod is a medium to heavy one with three size ends (4,5 and 6 oz) Can anyone help in telling me what size method feeder (cage type part ie what you put the groundbait on) that I should use ? They come in all sorts of sizes and I am looking to buy 10 plus for a reasonable price from a reputable website. Thanks Ali

  21. I am fairly new to angling and have really only done float fishing so far. However a mate let me use his feeder rod recently and I like the idea of that kind of fishing. I am considering buying a feeder rod but have no idea which would be best for the price. My budget would probably be about £50 and an idea of a suitable reel would be good also. Thanks
  22. Being a novice I have only done waggler float fishing. However, I was fishing yesterday with a mate and had a go with his feeder rod. I am now up for trying this type of fishing. We used a method feeder, and I think I grasped the basics on how to set up the rig etc.. Can anyone provide advice on a suitable method feeder rod for under £50. The reel I currently use is a Shimano 2500 Exage and I wondered if this would be suotable for this type of fishing ? Any advice on feeder fishing is also gratefully received ! Ali
  23. Thanks everyone-will have a go, although I may need a new rod bag. Any suggestions for 2-3 made up rods? Ali
