Just to say, 2 or 3 weks ago on that site, 2 guys posted that they had landed bass, named that mark and put on a photo of one of them holding a bass. Thats why the Gill Netter put his nets there, will people ever learn.

I have to agree with JRT, why kill 2 fish. One of those fish would have been plenty to feed a family. I know its up to the angler to decde what he does with his own fish, but i can not see the point in killing 2 great looking fish. Again someone is going to say its to eat them but its sad to see fish like that killed. Maybe one day when most of the bigger bass are gone, a lot of you angler will start to think like myself and JRT . Steve Butler

I think every Angler who fishes for Bass should get behind the BMP. A lot of people are putting in a huge amount of time and effort to make this plan work and if it does work it will be us Anglers who benefit in the end. STEVE BUTLER

Nice fish, but pictures of dead Bass dont look good. It would be better if it was photographed and released. For some reason people like to kill big Bass, why i dont know, maybe just to show off. You get a much better feeling when you release a fish like that.

Well Said Leon. Its very hard to educate sea anglers to return fish live back to the sea. I was involved with the tagging program that you mentioned and it give me great pleasure to watch big Bass swim away just after it had been tagged.If anglers could just think before they kill a Bass. A large amount of anglers will kill a Bass just to take a photo in the garden back home. Take a camera with you when your fishing, take your photo then return the fish, you'll get great pleasure watching that fish swim away and you'll still have a record of the fish on camera. Back garden dead Bass dont look good on a photo. Steve Butler
