  1. Ahhhhhh!............It's Des Taylor.
  2. Newt, did what you said but still having problems. Weirdly I can access all AN pages apart from the forums. Any other ideas? All Don't know how long i'll be able to post on the site, so may go missing for a while.
  3. Dave Looked at your web-site, very nice place. Couldn't tell by the pictures if there is enough room for a "camping village". Also do you have toilet facilites?
  4. Think we should have a trial run this year and just get pi$$ed, only for research mind.
  5. Those prices are in the July edition but just checked the web-site and they were a couple of quid more on there.
  6. Just had a look, advertisement in Sea Angler, Jims discount tackle. www.jims.org.uk Tel.01736 360160 1338.360 Odessa 12ft 4-8oz F/Spool......£36.99 1338.361 Odessa 12ft 4-8oz Multiplier...£38.99 I have ordered from here before with no problems.
  7. Have a look at the Shakespeare Odessa, very good for the money and i've seen them advertised at £36. Sea Angler magazine were impressed aswell, full carbon and the multiplyer version comes with a classy X-weave shrink grip and coasters.
  8. Only just been able to get back on the site, this seems to be an intermitant problem, but only seems to effect AN. OK whizz kids, here is what is coming up when I try and access the forums. UNKNOWN HOST Description: Unable to locate the server named "anglersnet.co.uk", the server does not have a DNS entry. Perhaps there is a misspelling in the server name, or the server no longer exists. Double-check the name and try again. I'm on AOL and my OS is 2000 Pro, do you think I have this wormy/virus thingy?
  9. Alan, all Obviously it would be great to have a venue where we could fish, trouble is finding a venue that caters for all disciplins of our sport. Little'uns If, as it seems i've somehow volunteered myself, then any help would be great. Anyone else wish to help arrange this? As if it goes "belly-up" and ends in disaster, i'd appreciate someone else's head on the block as well as mine. I'll will still ask for more feedback from interested parties, perhaps everyone could post a list of the 3 aspects which they find most important i.e, distance to travel, accomodation, cost, shower/toilet blocks and entertainment. I'll need your help on this guys and gals!
  10. I've been having problems with the site, is it a problem with my end?
  11. Does it have to have a fishing venue or do we just want to meet, chat and have a laugh? Have a look here , central(ish) location and near me to go and check out if nead be. Any feedback?
  12. You mean Elton isn't paying! No this would be a case of paying for a ticket probably, but it would be just to cover costs, but certainly not to make any profit. I would think calculating the monies involved and then dividing the cost between those wanting to participate would be the way to go. Oh Alan, think everyone here thinks your easy.
  13. Littlefeathers, I would also very much like this to happen and think it should most deffinately be over a weekend. I have requested an info pack from Billing Aquadrome to get an idea of costs etc. but would request that anyone who is interested should post an area in which they would be willing to travel, I think the first decision should be a venue that everyone is happy with. I also think, if we are going to use the "Anglers Net" banner, that we should have Eltons permission before proceding. Accomadation is likely to be a major issue, so what would everyone consider suitable? I for one would be willing to crash down in my bivvy, but that's just me. I am happy to help arrange this but need information from you guys and gals as to what you want.
  14. Simple 'eh!

  18. Great offer Dave, any room for a relative newcomer to the members club?
  19. LOL You sound similar to me Billy, my mother always said I was the worlds biggest worrier (minds gone blank, is that the right spelling?). Good luck with the driving test, might not seem it now, but driving will become second nature and about as taxing as tying your shoe laces. Oh, and littlefeathers. You can't expect us men to divulge our fears, stiff upper lip and all that. ........sssssshhhhhh! I'm terrified of spiders.
  20. Try AC Computer Warehouse . They sell second user systems at realistic prices and their service is very good.
