The lunatic states he has “a fantastic live”…….spent behind a keyboard trolling his rants 24/7. I shudder to think just how further bitter and twisted he could become if his life was anything but fantastic. Brexit can’t be that bad then.

Funny isn’t it, I frequent another fishing forum where two members continually rant on about Brexit, they’re killing the forum, they just can’t get it into their thick heads how boring it is for everyone else. when asked if they voted in the last general elections no was the answer.

True but I along with others I guess log in and go straight to latest activity as I do on other forums, when the screen is full of this propaganda it turns me right off, however you dress it, it destroys forums.

You beat me to it. This FISHING forum was recommended to me by another member who said it only has a small community but one that could grow. But in my short time here it has been dominated by two members that have an agenda and use this forum for their own political propaganda, they rarely if ever discuss or contribute fishing topics. Before and during Brexit families and friends argued, disagreed and fell out with each other, the vote to leave the EU was difficult for some to swallow but the vast majority of civilised intelligent people have moved on and difference put aside. The culprits on this forum have zero respect for fellow members and quite often are extremely offensive with their remarks. I use to be on another Fishing forum and the same is happening there even though there is a no politics rule which is overlooked by a couple of individuals who are allowed to browbeat the rest of the community with their rantings, it drives good folk away. The majority of us like to go fishing and one of its many joys is to get away for a few hours from all the negativity and horrors going on in the world. Ban all political comment with no exceptions or ban these selfish individuals that tarnish what could be a thriving forum.

I have BPH and take medication that helps…..to a degree. Diet can play a part in helping the condition, e.g. goats milk instead of cows milk (lack of testosterone). I think the time will come when I decide to take a surgical option to improve my quality of life, trouble is there are a few procedures, need to pick the best for me.

He won't let go, there's a moderator on another well known fishing forum who is exactly the same, he is on Facebook 24/7 remoaning, nobody listens, reads the stuff or takes any notice. It must make them permanently very miserable and sad.

Another good reason to quit smoking, glad I did ten years ago, the price of a fag now is crazy.

Plucks still has some better quality roach than Grove Ferry, sadly many of the swims are not so easily accessible.

Then it's a good job it's a once a year treat.

Mackeral are extremely reliable creatures, for the past two years they have arrived at Hythe in the same week, this year was no different, although sadly in much less numbers as is being reported around the country. Didn't use feathers just a lrf rod with small lures for some great sport, they came and went in 45 minutes! Amazingly there wasn't another angler on the beach, word obviously hasn't got around.

The conditions were awful yesterday, muddy coloured water, a good chop and plenty of weed, not ideal for lure fishing. Hadn't planned on going today but looking out the window at 6am I was out of bed and down the beach pronto, it never fails to amaze me how the sea conditions change so quickly and dramatically. There were a few baitfish jumping out the water that gave me hope but in the end it was just one small schoolie that was most welcome after a few successive blanks.
