Just had two days on test at Long Parish with two american friends.Can anybody recommend somewhere to take them next year.Trying to repay them for a Montana trip.e-mail addresses would be good so that they can see locations.Many thanks P.H.T.

Thanks guys,they are rods and reels,Glad you agree Jim. Just sold a three set to an american friend he loved them so much after using them on the Test for a couple of days.Trouble is I think they have not been beaten by anybody so need to replace them.

Have been useing mag 20 cannon for 12months. I had great trouble finding one ,baught it through tropicana in Littlehampton,they got it from YTT orYYT near Poole gave me a greatdeal .I first looked at small manual units but imgin trying to land the fish,stear the boat and wind up the downrigger at the same time,not easy. I use mine for large brown trout and charr,best trout last year 16lb+. Tropicana told me the south coast boys are using them for bass.

Well thanks Paula all I can add to the other posts is that it was really SWELL I MEAN SWELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously great weekend, great company,hope we can do it again sometime. The invitation to come and try the west coast stands,I can assure you though the fish will be good, but it will not be as SWELL. Best to all.

Its not just reading the threads its findinbg the current one. My computer only works at 20000 bps so these pages take a long time to load. Sorry Dunblane is about 200 miles the wrong way. Sorry folks the weather has been good here this week so have been working on the boat,the varnish is drying not freezing,so have only just caught up with this thread. Hope to be with you early pm on friday Paula,will phone when I get there. I will be coming up via Inverness if anybody still needs a lift.
