Totaly agree mate their is very little need for more than 2 or 3 lines unless you fish comps then its a little diffrent. As the above post says ask before buying, do not ever go with this system of intermediate, slow sink etc have a look on the box and look at what speed the line sinks you will be suprised, for me an intermediate is 0.5" to 1" per second but what is the point of an intermediate when a floating line with a weighted fly and a longish leader will do the same job

I am a salmon fisherman but i have to say have never heard of celtic lures if you had a pic of them would help. Devons depends on what they are plastic, wood or metal new or used not worth much either way unless their old ones (perl worth their money). Wobblers again not sure what they are in the salmon world and something i have never used.

Been keeping an eye on this thread and i will tie you some of the flies you require. If you can give me an idea on the colours and shape of the deer hair flies do you want them round or sqaure etc.

A few pepole is not really correct i wont go into how many uniques i am getting to the auction but it is a lot more than a few. And the other thing i do know is say their are 200 new visitors to the site in a week 70% visit it again and again Ebay does have a big advantage they advertise everywere and they do have 1000s of hits to their 'site' but if you do look you will find its all the same sellers and 90% are the same buyers. I do know for a fact that most of the pepole who use ebay are also using my auction. The other thing i have a seller on my auction who also sells on ebay, and he does sell his items on my site in a way that is a tremendous help to my new auction because it is bringing buyers from other auction sites to my auction. Like i have said the auction is young and in fact i am still working on it when it is finished i to will start my advertising campaigns mostly in fishing magazines and web sites. I have actually allready started with a new affiliate program and my site is and will start apearing every were like ebay does. All i ask is to give me and my auction a chance i am not a big company who makes millions a quater i am a fisherman just trying to provide a free service to other fishermen.

To put an item on Fishebid it is free, if you wanted to use the bold, gallery featured catagory featured etc then their is a small fee about quater what ebay charge, when the auction closes their is no closing fee. Ebay charge to put the item on regardless if it sells or not i dont Ebay charge a closing fee i dont So i think it is pretty fair to say its free. If someone wants to enhance their listing then their is a small fee. Thanks for pointing out the terms and conditions will get that done tomorrow morning. A few years ago i got some of that leada outcast for spinning for salmon. I thought it was ok nice and limp with no stretch etc but it has been a bugger for knotting up. I had changed reels but that never cured it so i have given up with it and have used it for backing on my fly reel. Now i need a new spinning line i was going to go back to good old maxima but i thought i would ask what you other fisherman use. In particular the big fish fishermen

Can i make a small suggestion get PIGS AND LOTS OF THEM you will be suprised at the ammount of collectors out their (Not Me) but the girlfreind must have hundreds of the things and she is in with loads of other pig collectors from around the world. That is Pigs with 4 legs and their pink with a curly tail

Regardless of what has been said or you might think of me (even though you dont know me) i am running a charity auction for the Great Ormond Street Hospital. I have put a Cortland fly line on (Your Choice and AFTM) with the proceeds going to the above. The winning bidder will make a cheque out to the above and send to me or the address given at the end of the auction and i will send them a brand new fly line.
