Thanks for the offer Peter(step in Steve)but I don`t think it`s for me.I`m quite happy with brollies, except when walking a mile or so to the better river swims when the least weight carried is helpful.

Maybe thats why my last one didn`t last,it only cost £28,but it was nice and light. Anyhow,thanks Andrew & Peter,just a question of which one to plump for now.

Anyone know where to get a DECENT 50" lightweight brolly.My last one is coming apart at the top and didn`t even last a season. I used to use the wavelock type but it gets a bit heavy on a long hike.

Doh!Now I see why a camouflaged seat would be an advantage. So these bulls don`t see you. But still watch out for the bushes.
