  3. Its version 3 Andy but the first design without the use of tables . I am quite proud with my first dabble at PHP . I will get someone to proof read all the content and grammar as most of my time is taken up with the programming thanks for the feedback . Oh the forum is being independently of the main website because it turned into a battlefield last year

I never thought of using fishmeal based boilies for carp I have used them for barble and chub I know that ole chevin loves the spicy shrimp and prawn ones the barble seem to favour something with a bit of spice but I will give the Dynamites new oyster and mussel bollies a go when I get back onto the river.

  10. I run a forum and recently a member has been banned and today I have received a email saying that all his postings are his copyright and property and he wants them deleting but I would say they belong to the website and its up to me whether to delete them or not, who is right ?

Device Manager Right-click on 'My Computer' Click on 'Properties' Click on the 'Hardware' tab Click on 'Device Manager button' When the device manager opens look for the network adapters icon open that then double left click on the network card icon that applies to your puter another box should open look for the drivers icon on top of the box click open and your roll back driver option is there
  13. I have been updating and restyling the SDAA website but had to go live early with news which had to go online just wondering if anyone has IE7 and how it looks also is anyone viewing with a 800X600 monitor does it look OK there a lot more pages to go yet. OK the addie is southportangling
  14. Have you tried rolling back the nic card drivers yet
  15. I had that problem just kept getting knocked off the net it was driving me mad . So I opened the windows Event Viewer which liststhe problem of the NIC Card timing out so I open the device manager and rolled back the drivers options and now everything is OK

I have one or two problems which is driving me crazy the first one is how can I make the main content a little wider but keep it in between the two side panels also how can I centre the second content div I did have it right in firefox but in IE it went potty just like I am at the moment. Which font you recommend for the content p tag jan-website/news1.html I have only the news link working at the moment

  18. Slowly getting there with the first steps of php one thing I have learnt is to use a story board so you can rember what is what or else you will be in a mess trying to remember what each file does
  19. Ok I have my xampp up and running and everything seems to be running fine but where do I save my files to view using the localhost I have place a couple in htdocs to test but cannot view anything when I run the browser

Virgin Media have seem to have taken over Telewest Blueyonder my mail box has gone a funnysize and also most of my subscribed TV programmes have disappeared also the call centre has moved to sunnier climes but I never had any problem with Telewest services always spot on but now only time will show

  23. I would like to start to dabble with php so I was told to install apache but everytime I try to install it states a 133 error I am on XP and its driving me mad as I had it working once but uninstalled because I open a file in wrong pl ace
