  1. the big snooze is ok, you'd need a cover for winter use and the zips aren't the best, have a look at the peachskin, its a lot better
  2. try sandhurst at yateley mate, its not too difficult and its full of big fish
  3. pulled this from another site, if your in the north west it might be of interest The Wirral, Merseyside and District Carp Forum are putting on a great show on 20th February at Bromborough Civic Centre Wirral. Guest speaker Derek "The Don" Ritchie is travelling from down south to entertain us also Viper Bait Boats, Fox International, Mainline Baits plus many others are exhibiting, there is a great show lined up by anyones standards. There are great raffle prizes and an auction for an exclusive Carp Fishing Holiday in France worth over £1200.00 and a Brand New Viper Icon bait boat. Lets show our support by turning up and giving them a Great Northern Welcome, we know there is a credit crunch so entry is now just £5.00 not bad for such a great show. Give us some feedback and let us know your comments or if you are coming.
  4. if your in the north west try gp http://www.gppellets.co.uk/
  5. what kind of a fishery manager bans maggots
  6. they like those nice orange smartcast floats too
  7. the one on the right is the one i use i've had mine a couple of years now and it cost £4.95 at the time :D
  8. i wouldn't buy a fox box mate, have a look in the toolbox/storage section of your local b&q, i picked up my tackle box from there for under a fiver and it looks very similar to a fox box
  9. you might have got wet but at least you got your rod/reel back, and you landed the fish B)
  10. get the digi camera out and take loads of photos whilst its empty mate, they could be extremely useful at some point in the future
  11. the fishing bag looks good for the price, and theres an aldi shop on the other side of town
  12. i'd go for big game mate, i first started using it at the beginning of the 90's, 18 years on i've got total faith in it
  13. good to see you've thought about this mate, unfortunately there is no safer way to set up leadcore than on a helicopter type rig
  14. i've been doing ok on the green coloured peparami this winter
