My names Anthony Chance and I currently live in Worcester. I've been fishing since I was about 5 years old and started out fishing an old pond where I caught beautiful butter yellow crucians and greedy little perch.
I used to live in a small village called Eardiston, Nr Tenbury Wells. My house was about 500 yards from the river teme which is where I became what I am today - A fishing fanatic!!.
As our little village was 7 miles from the nearest town most of my spare time was spent hunting rabbits or fishing the shallow gravel runs of my local stretch of the Teme for barbel and chub.
I now live only a few miles from the river Severn where, during the winter months, I fish for pike but most of my time is now spent fishing still waters for a variety of species.
I used to match fish with my dad but found this to be too serious so moved towards pleasure fishing where I enjoy all aspects of our sport from trotting for grayling in the depths of winter to fishing with multiple rods for days on end targeting large carp.
I don't consider myself to be a specimen hunter by any means but I do enjoy targeting the larger specimens.
If there is anyone who lives nearby who would like to meet up for a days fishing then feel free to send me a PM and we'll get something organised.
