cheers lads got exams coming up so was last chance for a couple of weeks

tied a small green and black buzzer,took it to my local fishery and promptly caught a perfect finned 4lb rainbow never been so happy.It was my only fish of the day but i was well chuffed.tied from the fly tying bible a great recommendation.

i read in the glasgow herald today that a doctor and professor at glasgow uni and edinburgh uni have found that fish "do have the capacity for pain perception and suffering.We suggest there is an urgent need for the developement of fish welfare guidlines."

i suppose but then you end up with a freezer full of fish you dont need, i usually only kill fish if my family or friend is looking for one for there pot,but you do see people going home with bags full fish curry for a fortnight

yeah i totally agree, a 38lb pike is an extremely rare specimen,it would probably be somewhere between 8-13 years old so what is the point of killing it,its obviously been there for a while.
