McCain ads are now featuring Hillary Clinton's incisive comments toward Obama which she made earlier this year while campaigning for the Democratic nomination for president. You need to get out more often, Chesters. That's a great road trip, Don. Be sure and visit Colorado National Monument off I-70 in western CO; echo canyons, cliffs, etc, not a tourist trap. What route are you taking?

I didn't even know floating tuna pens even existed. I have a buddy who used to ride cycles competitively. He participated in a Baja 1000-mile bike race as part of a team for a few years and said that they kept a supply of t-shirts an hats onboard the trailing bus to give to Mexican soldiers at checkpoints way out in the boondocks, with no one around. Apparently it was a form of insurance to have a gift for bored 18 year-olds holding M-16's.

This happens every summer, sometimes more than once. Guys get in a hurry to get somewhere else before dawn and forget that there might just be a pier in the way, or they set their GPS waypoint inside the pierheads instead of outside. Either way, they're screwed. No fish is worth this trouble. BTW, that's the south Manistee pier on Lake Michigan.

Chris Kaman is going to play for Germany, even though he's not German, doesn't speak Deutsche, and only recently went to Germany. Kaman plays for the LA Clippers and is from my town. A lot of folks around here think he's a "traitor" even though he wouldn't have played for team USA. Go figure. I think he just wanted to participate, saw his opportunity, and took it. HERE
