What is the best way to keep maggots fresh when you can't put them in a fridge,plus what can you put with the bait to stop it smelling or them sticking together. :confused:

Im yet to get my licence yet but i agree with malevans, a family licence would be great.i have three daughters and a wife who adore fishing,but while finding time to fish is difficult, i get the girls and wife a day licence, but now and then when they catch more than me they want to go more and more so a family licence would be helpful.i know a childs licence is only still £5.00 but look at what it will cost me in the future. While on the subject of licences and general topics on this forum about the close season,why should we have to by a licence lasting 12 months but three months you cannot use it( if you adhere to the close season). there should be two types,one for open season,one for close season at a reduce price.
