  1. The 3/4 you have posted is the one I refer to, In the military it is comonly called a 3/4 FFR. The 'forward Control' is a one ton Landrover normally used as a command post or Ambulance. They are a beautiful piece of work, I don't think it would suit Elton, The 3/4 is bad enough but the 1 ton does about 9 miles per gallon. Which is a damn site worse than my 4.6 RangeRover which averages 12!
  2. OK, Jeeps are nice for some things, Do me a favour, Park it on a real bad uneven surface, take your fishing tackle out the back and then see if you can shut the boot
  3. Welcome to Angler's Net............... Are you certified insane? If so you will fit in here. If not go to the Coarse fishing Forum
  4. A Boy passes his driving test and decides to take his family out for a Sunday Afternoon drive, Dad gets into the car and sits in the back behind his son. Mum looks a bit shocked but gets in the front passenger seat. Son says to his Dad as he drives off along the road, "I suppose you are sitting there to get a different view after all the lessons you gave me sat alongside me?" "NO!" shouts Dad, "It's payback time" and starts kicking the back of the drivers seat
  5. 1st AND 2nd water............................. Whatever of the three sexes it is you have just GOT to call the new arrival Southampton or Poole
  6. I before E except after C and words begining in TH........... And Buoy is pronounced how Newt?
  7. They probably think well of you and your fellow Countrymen Jim, The fact of the matter is that they think more of me than they do of you.
  8. I am afraid there is a bit of a queue Nursey.............. There is about 100 people who might object to you jumping in But, to be sure, there's only one way to get your own back SPIT AGAINST THE WIND
  9. It's not your setting Jim, it's the resolution of the pictures taken of your area. Some are higher than others.
  10. About an hour ago I looked out on my patio and I swear, no joke, I didn't believe it myself at first there were two rabbits a male and a female tucking into what appeared to be an Indian Take away. At first I thought I had lost my marbles but then remembered that I already knew that and the alleged culprit had been identified. I walked away. and decided to check what was happening so I phoned my VET. His wife answered the phone and as I explained she said the VET was busy and hung up on me! I looked back on my patio about half an hour later and I am sure the two rabbits were drinking a bottle of wine and that there were two other bottles of wine cast aside. Now I am sure this is not right so I phoned my VET. again to explain to him what had happend, after a few rings his wife answered the phone and I tried to explain but again she said he was busy and hung up the phone. I went back to my window and saw that the two Rabbits were now fornicating, right there, in front of my window. I went out and tried to shoo them away but they carried on. So I went and got a bucket of water and threw it at them and still the male carried on with, it seemed ever increasing vigour. Now this is definately not right so I went back indoors and phoned the VET. When his wife answered I decided I was not going to be cut off and dismissed so I demanded to speak to him. This time he came to the phone and I told him what was happening. He told me to shout out that the male rabbit was wanted on the phone............ I said to him "will that stop him fornicating?" and he said "Might not on the first try but it sure as hell stopped me by the third time you did it!" I went out and tried it on the Rabbits but it didn't work
  11. Oh and by the way.............. Not being Picky BUT............ favorite and recieve might need a bit of work as well
  12. So your feedback rating is...... what......? 101%? 110%? 120%? PS. That's miss-spell -or-, dependant on where you come from misspell
  13. Well I have tried the best I can to keep this thread 'on topic' but it seems that I have failed and it has 'gone to the dogs' Personally I blame Newt. I may be posting more on this subject, and the true topic (Sid, Cecil, Snowy and Marbles) in the next few hours, but as is, I have just seen a van stop outside my house and three men in white coats have got out. Gotta make myself scarce for a while
  14. You have my agreement, now all you have to do is convince the people who are writing the current legislation
  15. Because they are the ones who made it easy for people to do so by not making an infinite number of variables for their vehicle and limiting sales of parts to a certain Country only. And as such they are the ones who are hit hardest by the imports. Now Toyota on the other hand will use a certain amount of 'M' parts in their vehicles, but not record the use on the VIN number so making it almost impossible to sort out problems without the vehicle being stripped and left in a garage for weeks whist the 'correct part' is sourced. Elton, at the end of the day your ONLY choice is to go Landrover, the model you choose is up to you. I am prepared to put a challenge up on here for any of these guys to try and complete. And remember if you drive a LandRover 3/4 you can always buy that sticker that says "The car in front is a TOYOTA Crumple Zone"
  16. I have a notice on the private lane that leads to my House it says................ "Private Property, Intruders will be shot, survivors will be prosecuted for trespass"
  17. Problems vary with different models Steve, As I understand it the Honda marques arn't too bad as they mainly use their own parts. A Dealer once told me that there are over 500 variations of the HiLux Surf by engine alone, each using different components SOME of which are hard to come by so it still does make it a bit of a minefield. Now Mitsibushi as I understand it are again a little bit different, the main difference between a Shogun (UK Spec) and a Pajero (import) is that one has a badge on the back saying 'Mitsibushi' and rear fog built into the rear cluster and the other has a badge which says 'MMC' and the rear fog lamp is an add on. That is quite easy for a dealer to cope with. Imagine having to do a repair to an engine or gearbox where you have to strip the defective part to it's components to find which part it contains and then order that part from Japan.
  18. Done an eBay search and found something you can afford/persuade the wife to let you have/buy without the wife killing you (again) Bowler Wildcat
  19. Go for the Bowler Elton, you know you want to...................
  20. Read All about Huge's Former Home Here
  21. Yep, and my Father and Mother, In fact my Father was in Albany when my Mother met him. All my Brother's and my Sister were there as well at one time or another, although being the youngest I was a toddler at the time and don't remember alot of it
  22. Yep some of it makes me laugh...... In my neck of the woods there is an area over which flying by helicopters and aircraft is strictly prohibited, in the past if you did so you would get at, first a warning from ATC, no-body ignored that so we often wondered what the next level would be. Photographs in the area are also banned, if you are found with a camera it will be confiscated. I had to develop some piccies of this area once for a Govt Contractor, all the time the media was in my posession a Prison Officer was with me! All this to prevent the ability of making a map of the Prisons which would aid in any escape attempts. Type into your local search bar, "Clissold Road" and Newport, Isle of Wight into the located in part and see if you can get any information to help somebody lol. PS I used to live there but I don't anymore but that's a secret
  23. You can already see 'New' Charter Boat designs which are becomming available quoting "wheelchair access" as a feature. It will not be long before the impacts of the Disability Discrimenation Law will be applied to businesses who's trade is fishing. At this stage in the game with some of the 'slightly overzealous' people out there it will not be long before a Charter Boat Skipper 'turns away' a potential customer in a wheel chair and suffers for it. Not on a soapbox, as I am registered disabled but some people will try and make a fast buck on it as has already happend in some areas.
  24. The images of my house are only 1 year old, as I said all images are being updated to high res over a period of time. I have tried the email>> Picture and emailed my self the image, it comes through as a .jpg file but when i try and open it it's blank! As you said the .kmz file works great if you have googlearth installed but you cant do a lot with the image than send it out by email. Be great if Elton (more work for free!) could add a link bar to our signatures so we could show different locations etc. Last night I showed Nurse Judy Mine and She showed me her's
