Carl Benjamin made an interesting point the other day. The British public seem to be incapable of thinking outside the paradigm of Labour or Conservative - making the smaller parties pretty pointless. The patriots need to infiltrate and take over the Conservative party - and give the membership what they keep demanding.

I don't know why you think I care about the conservative party. The only thing that they've got going for them is that they're not Labour. Meanwhile, you're still convinced that the majority of people regret Brexit, but in the real world:

Hi John. I've always fished simple breadflake under a float and fed mashed bread. Getting plagued by little ones is rarely a problem in the UK. Never heard of people fishing boilies, but some seem to do okay with corn.

"No news is good news" is the usual mantra whenever anybody wants to do tests with me.

Shop? I ordered mine through AliExpress. Yes, I distinctly remember that the one time a bead came apart, it was threaded black side first. Oh, and there's a smaller, less flat version available - don't bother. I now almost exclusively use braid hooklengths for bottom fishing, and the one thing I will be trying is including a silicone sleeve to try to reduce tangles.

Anyway, back to the important stuff. How is their latest TikTock dance routine coming along. We have a new strain circulating in the community, and those pans won't just bang themselves...

They're the same thing. The blue ones coming apart has only happened to me once - the two parts are press fit.

I usually fish them with the mainline entering through the blue side, and then have a rubber shock bead between it and a swivel. One tip is to put a rubber float stop above the link. With it a couple of feet up the line, everything works like a standard running ledger, but when bites get hard to hit, you can slide it down and create a scaled down bolt rig.
