    This is very very sad news to hear, I was looking forward to fishing with Gerry again this summer up on the broads in Charlie's boat. I remember fishing with him a couple of years ago on the Yare and I missed a take, Gerry cast his lure in and pulled out an 18lb. I learnt so much from Gerry the times I was privileged to go fishing with him. He was always willing to help anybody out, myself included. RIP Gerry, gone but not forgotten.
