  1. Sorry Paul, didn't answer your question, you need to know the web address(URL) of the image and then click on the little IMAGE box, type in the url and it appears.

At the risk of sounding smug (whats new you ask)first you have to post the pic on a website, BT give you space as do most ISPs. I downloaded BulletProof FTP for a free trial and it is a piece of cake to use.

After you have sent it to the site log on and Right click the image and click properties and you get the URL.

Hope that is not sounding to patronising but I do remember how frustrating it can be if you haven't done it before,

  3. Yeah, I have to admit that we were "poaching", for those not in the know, some of us started fishing on the wrong venue!.

Tell you what though it was a cracking weirpool wasn't it?

I bet if we had known, then we would have got pulled as soon as we cast out, I expect the owners, whose house overlooked the pool, thought we had bought tickets! :D:D

Strange thing happened to me that day, I have used a hooktier for years, and like to think I can do it blindfold, but for some reason I forgot how to use it!

As soon as I got home I got the gadget out again and did it first time!

Also hooked a large (3.5lb) trout which went upstream under the Pipe bridge I was sitting on, most of the rod was out of sight up the pipe,... great fun.

  5. What a lovely progression of ideas, Lake, good,... bucket, even better,... you could even use the loo, wonder what would happen if the spool went round the bend!

Fishingmad, you have a neutral line, it would probably sink if there were any ripples on the surface

  7. All of them good ideas, specially the throw it in the lake one, as my missus says about me, "simple but effective"

Some say you should have the spool facing as this reduces twist, but I always thought that if you put the pencil thro the spool you get one twist per turn winding on and then one untwist per turn when casting out

I do like this new board Elton,

    Den
