I just use the same elastic straps but attach outside of rod holdall (I always carry 4 rods - for 24 hour plus sessions). The extra weight means not a jot!!!

I have the very same and owned almost as long. Has survived several gales on Chesil Beach even after once blowing 50yds up the beach at 3 in the morning!!! Without me still inside I might add!!!

Back again but only with a 3lb er on a lure!!! 4 years on!!!!

The plaice are found approx 3/4 down the length of the Bill and around 1/3 off the shore. The sand banks run parallel to the shore.

Mackeral at any state seems to work for me even good Bass and Codling off Chesil!!!

Good session and experience - Would love to having been there!

Even worse force 4/5 winds - surf filling camp site . really hard work so after standing 5 hours sodded back to my ranch!

Following week only 1 solatory Whiting in 26 hours...... The Cod competition help from beach 11.00 - 5.00pm Sun doubt whether a sinlge cod was caught - I stayed till three on Sunday and only managed a few Doggies!!! :o

Yes I confirm they are being caught off Chesil in small numbers - up to a couple of pounds at present!!!!!

Back to the Cottage mark Sat / sun to haul out those Cod that everyone says are about loads of rag squid and crab on board!!!
