Our new Police commissioner has made the local plod to enforce the law on cyclists with no lights, cyclists riding on the pavement, cyclists riding the wrong way up one way streets and cyclists riding through red lights. I'll suggest he also gets to grips with lighting problems on cars, lorries, buses etc.
My gripe is motorists who stop at lights, junctions, whatever and keep their foot on the brake, blinding the driver [usually me] behind. It's really only bad at night.

In urban areas possibly, but in rural areas we can see down to about magnitude 7 - 7.5
Not in my rural area, it's always cloudy, just like tonite between 7pm & 11pm!

More posts in a thread instead of having to go to the next page. 40 would be good!

I watched it and while I enjoyed the program I thought it showed his recklessness along with an obvious skill and determination.
I never knew the outcome of the inquest into his death until last night, but can see how the coroner came to his conclusion!

As already stated ... No great surprise !!
Jessops have been staggering behind the market for a number of years, and with the advent of cameras on mobile phones
and on line shopping they could not offer anything to keep pace. Cheap end items and poor salesmanship didn't help either.
The bad part is that if you have an item in for repair, or if you have a warranty, or if you got Jessops vouchers for Christmas ..
... Forget it !!
Because of the immediate shutdown of the company none of these claims can be pursued.
Shareholders come first .... Customers second !!
Not correct! The tax and vat man come first, if there's anything left there's a share out between creditors. Still doesn't help the customers.

The man in the street knows who is getting richer and richer!

Now there's a liar if ever there was one!

OK I admit it, it was me who pushed the UK to number 1 in the world. I am hooked on crisps especially those Walkers Stars in cheese and onion flavour. I hadn't realised just how many I'd been eating. I'll try to eat less.

Chris,
Thanks for that, made my day!! The Aurora is spectacular, I really must head up North to witness it LIVE!
We saw the ISS the other night but as Rob said it is usually cloudy and raining.

What about the 2nd century ad?
Dunno, wasn't there.

This is doing the rounds on Facebook [sorry for that admission] I actually quite like this one.

Poll tax would have been the fairest way to get people to pay for their council services. My house is bigger than others in the road but we all have the same services, so why should I pay more than the others? I think you should pay "per person" so those with kids pay more than those without

Exactly!

Shame it's not "The way I fish" as I'd have offered you £20 for that one by Dennis Pye.

OK done all that and it was still active, did it again and again still there.
Tried IE settings and nothing there. however when I the went to the Firefox settings yet again I found an HD TV program.
Un-installed that followed your instructions again and Happy Days it's now gone.
Once again it's BIG THANK YOU

Somehow I've managed to get this on my main PC and so far have failed to get rid of it.
Running Firefox, so have followed the guides to uninstall but there's nowt to uninstall?
I've also run Malwarebytes and SAS with no luck.
Any ideas greatfully received.
Kirisute where are you?

I don't do any financial business on the door step. That means buying anything, changing power/broadband providers, or donating to any charities.
John.
I'm with you, I just point to my " No cold callers" notice as I close the door.
Not that I get any since I put the notice up.

Tench,
Legit - but dangerous - To this extent. It is "legal" and a great way to "case" your house.

Oxygen sensors are a pain. My X Trail needed a new one but it turned out the screw in fixing on the manifold was the problem. 1 week out of warranty and Nissan said "tough", so after many arguments and £1600 later it was fixed.
Never will I buy another Nissan.
What this has to do with Vauxhall Astra Drivers I have no idea?
