  1. You do have a point jeepster, maybe it was an innopropriate post? You guys go blacktipping, excuse me, do you mates and skippers fish for BlackTip Shark over in the U.K.????
  2. drove away a new poster? I think not Mr.Newt. Hey if you guys are to advanced or have some kinda regional cliche(note:someone said "shall we tell him where we live")thats great. I was just tring to get alittle info. P.S.My guess would be that your from somewhere in the U.K.
  3. Blacktipping means Black Tip Shark Fishing here in the South. Thanks Kenny , yeah I was thinking either Myrtle or Charleston.
  4. Good casting rod? You usually get a waverunner and drop the line out about a 100 yards. Yeah I hear Florida is the best for blacktipping from shore....What about South Carolina????
  5. Know that I think of it: She probably can do this, heres why: 1)Theres no confidential agreement between the partakers (not that I'm aware of) 2)The letter or letters to the receipiant may be used at her aid or disclosure as long as: They are not slanderous, defamate, or bind that person (your wife) to any criminal or illegal activity. I'm no attorney but I would think its possable for your wife to remain annymous in the publishing if she desires
  6. I've had very little legal training, but surely this person putting these letters to publish could block out or "gag" the names and identities of the partakers. since this is a normal letter going to afriend I'm not sure that would be a breach of privacy. My training was in Business law so I'm very little help, but like I said surely this old "friend" will not publish the names, just the content.
  7. Any of you guys ever try light tackle blacktip fishing from inshore? What time of year would you recommend?
  8. All the finders I seen basically show depth, temp, and rivets, holes, ect. in the water. But hey what do I know theres no tellin what they're making these days.
  9. WHAT!!!??? Don't hook your bait?!? Thanks for the input on what you guys catch'em on. I'm gonna try a search on some carp rigs. You guys fish for Largemouths over n the U.K.?
  10. What do you guys think about running a 80lb test on a 50 class reel? (may be going for mako's over in New England)
  11. Hello fellow anglers. I'm primarily a Bass angler but I have a nice size pond beside my house with quite an abundance of some pretty big carp. This may sound silly but what do you catch carp on? Never caught one so I would like to try it out. Thanks
  12. Hello fellow anglers. I'm new to the forums and must say its great! I admit I'm mainly a fresh water fisherman, however I recently became intreasted in Marlin fishing which eventually led up to bigger fish (not that Malin are small)I have a few amature questions. Is swordfishing legal? Why is Great White ishing illegal? And what kinda rig would you need to catch one of these bad boys???(not that I would catch one) any reply appreciated. Thanks
