  1. Hi All, Ive just uploaded a collection of some of the video clips that will be featured on the brand new Gardner Tackle website in the new year Its been great working with everyone at Gardner, and hopefully, we can get some more done when the weather improves! Heres a link to the clips - http://websitetourvideo.com/index.php?Id=2 Tight lines everyone... Phil
  2. Lovely looking clip Guillaume! I also produce fishing related video clips so its great to see some monster fish like that on video over the internet. I must admit, at times, i wasnt so sure of the music, but overall it works really well. -phil
  3. Thanks for the feedback John, I think they sell it like that because its sold in sets of 3. Three different sizes for three different types of fishing scenarios. The alchemy in the video is specifically designed to fished up close to the bank in shallow water, where as their longer "spectre" float is aimed at much deeper water, a longer way out. So i guess in some sense, if you buy all three, you are covered for most types of float fishing! but this it self sounds like a sales pitch which it isnt meant to! it was just to try and answer your question really. Thanks for watching the clip anyway!
  4. hi zenith, The guys who make spectre floats (lance rathbone) is based in leceister yeah, but im in St.Neots in Cambs. I Travel all over the country though!
  5. A picture is worth a thousand words - but a moving picture is worth thousands more! With the emergence of ever quicker broadband access to the Internet, video content is proving to be a major selling point for business promotions online. Broadband allows website visitors the opportunity to "stream" short video films or “clips”. After careful consultation with the fishery owner, we spend the whole day at your fishery, pick out all the very best scenic shots, fish being caught and all the other services that you provide (bait huts, toilet facilities, food & drink, accomodation etc.) The footage is then edited with professional editing software, adding background music, titles, and even a voice-over if desired. You choose how long your clip needs to be and what you want on it, theres no hidden charges. Hosting options are also available, so the speed of access to your site will never be any slower. If you have any further questions about this brand new service, then please dont hesitate to call. As a special new introductory offer, prices start from as little as £300 for a two minute video clip. Please visit the website to see examples of our work – www.websitetourvideo.com Best Regards, Phil Begnett WTV Videographer, Producer

  8. Hi Ferret, Unfortunatley mate, i dont work for spectre floats and the freebies they offered me i left in their office! (DOH!) I
  9. Hi Everyone, A while back i came on the board with a new business idea of creating promotional video clips for fishing related websites such as fisheries and tackle makers. Well, the idea is now fully off the ground, and ive got a few jobs under my belt! The latest one is with "Spectre Floats", an ingenius method of catching carp with a brand new float design. Here's a link to the clip - http://www.spectrefloats.co.uk/html/tips___video.html The guys at Spectre floats were very happy with it, but i just wanted to know if anyone could just check it out for me and let me know if thought it was helpful or not. Im always on the look out for new jobs to do btw, so if theres people out there involved in fisheries or tackle/float makers then please get in touch with me. Thanks for reading, and i apologise if this is frowned upon as spam. Just trying to get something going!! -Phil
  10. sounds like an amazing days fishing that. Im off to my local fishery on sunday and hope to get the same kind of action with silvers, but what i really want is to land my very first tench. Is it better to go for natural sweetcorn or a sweeter variety in this hot weather?
  11. Many thanks for fixing the link for me Newt. Thanks also for all the feedback you are all giving me for what may be seen as a bit of spam... so thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback...... what ever you think of it helps a great deal. Its a fantastic place to fish up there at Manor Farm.. i went up when i was a little in-experienced a last summer float fishing on the blunham lake and a fairly decent carp just "ripped" apart my float set up.... my fault entirely i know! Will be going back up there with my newly acquired Polemaster Margin Carp pole as soon as i can to see if can land a nice fish or two!
  12. hi there, Ive just finished my first Website Video tour of my local fisherie - Manor Farm. what do you think? www.websitetourvideo.com/manorfarmfishing.wmv Link fixed. On dial-up just now and going fishing so will look later. Newt
  13. hi all, Thanx for all your feedback so far. I hear what your saying about the 360 camera thing but im finding that these "virtual tour" cameras or "online webcams" are all just a bit too static. Im hoping to be spending all day at a fishery, filming lots of different areas/views and wildlife etc. Add graphics/titles on the screen to give more info about different types of fishing in each lake etc, so its like really being there having a nose around, but at the same time, keeping it short and interesting so it doesn take too long to load up on a page. The last thing people want is it "wait" for something to watch for too long!
  14. Hi Everyone, I really hope this isnt frowned upon as spam or a blatant sell as it isnt meant to be. Its just a keen fisherman thinking of a new business venture! Im starting up a new promotion service called W.T.V - Website Tour Video. The idea is to approach companies that have websites, such as Fisheries and offer them a short "video tour" to put on their website. What i want to know from you lot is, would this of interest to you when your thinking about planning your next fishing trip? Would you be interested in seeing a short tour of the fishery your planning to go to? I.E. Shots from specific pegs, bait shop, surrounding countryside, some fish being landed etc. Anyfeed back, good or bad would really help!
