i had on the ceiling about 2 nights ago. i swear i have never got of bed so quick. anyway this thing must have reached 10cm in length, including legs. it cudnt fit in a glass so i put it in my washing basket

hopefully tomorrow i will be freelining a sandeel over some rocks as i have heard this is a good method of catching bass. i will be using 15lb line and a size 3/0 hook. how would be the best way to hook the sandeel????

had a size 8 hook in the joint in my finger, went way past the curve in the hook. tried to pull it out myself, but to no success. ended up at the hospital

yes i'll try and gather as much info and pics as possible for you codroamer. i'll probably only be fishing a whole mackerel head down the wall on an 8/0 hook for the big bass and have a carp rod also down the wall for wrasse, pollack etc. dont know what my dad will be doing but i'll give you a report wednesday night. should be fun though!!!

going there on wednesday, never fished there before. info on rigs, baits, places etc ps. it will be low tide

if i ever see them within casting distance i'll be tying a plain lead to my shockleader and casting at them. they'll soon move on

went to the tackle shop at about 10 this morning and he told me about the 16lb 4oz bass which he officially weighed on the scales at the fish mongers round the corner. thats a pretty big fish

had my 1st bass of the year today, only a small one but still a bass was so sad when i went to take a picture to find out the batteries were flat needless to say it went straight back
