hi ppl yer the lady off fishing magic was wendy perry she was funny as anything, i was one of the lucky ones that got on the show its was amazing a real laugh the programme is to go out on itv scotland starts 9th of jan at 7.30 it will go on discovery realime in feb march. i found out about the programme throgh this site does anybody think i should do a diary on this site like wendy has on fishing magic?

am fishing on on a cage feeder in a pond just in the margins if that helps, oh and i use the loop method for the feeder?

hey just been reading the replies thanks alot to everyone who has helped means alot. so do you all think 15lb line straight through near the snags is to heavy? If you was fishing on the surface for carp up to 20lb+ tight near the reeds wot would be all of your approches? thanks again

it was a diawa rod maybe it was coz it was damaged i dunno had it a couple of years so cant tk it back now. do you think the length of the rod mite be the problem? would using a 9ft rod or even a 10ft be better. also does it work the higher the test curve the more chance i have of keeping thm out the reeds.

hiya thanks for looking just hope you can help? ive been fishing a decent sized pond that hold some good carp up too 25lb + i see them near some snags so thought i would av a go for them on the surface. This carp came up fpr my bread and i struck into it there was a big splash and my rod snapped into about 5 pieces lol i coudt believe it. my line is 15lb an the test crve was 1.75lb test curve do i need a stronger rod? well obviously i do bt wot 3lb maybe i dunno any sugesstions all help would be brill thanks all. also could anyone suggest a rod that would be good for this situation.

we was just seeing what the best pole for under £300 was please let us know
