  14. hi a brilliant carp water would be a decent sized water of at least 6 acres with very well spaced out swims just say 4 swims to every 6 acres would be well enough also a water were most swims have a good feature to fish to to so it make anglers happy that when they go to the lake they are gaurenteed a swim with good features to fish to also a variety of small and large fish so if the anglers want o come to catch the smaller carp or fish then they can get plenty of runs and have enjoyment and the anglers who want to catch the big carp can fish with the more heavy duty equipment to catch the larger carp.( a good stock of big carp will always make an serious big fish angler more up for coming to the lake.) i find that a realy good thing to have in the carp waters is one or to suprises such as maybe the odd large catfish or sturgeon or even just a huge carp in the lake which i always look for because it is a real bonus catching one of the surprise fish which i have done a few times and it makes me want to come back to the water even more. also mainly grass swims or the bark swims would be good with maybe 1 or two decked swims for disabled anglers because i no alot of my mates or people i go fishing with we look at a lake and it has decked swims or a majority of decked swims and immedietly we dont want to visit the water because most or some of us dosent have rod pods.(so i would say mainly grass or barked swims but one or two for disabled anglers) i hope that was a usefull peace off info.

  19. hi superb brilliant fighters
  20. hi just got back from the place in france i decided not to fish for the cats . The lake is 3 acres and there are two large cats in there of 45lbs and 65lbs so i fished the week for the carp and had loads of carp with 20 of them being 20lbs fish with the biggest being a 29lbs mirror but on the second evening at about 9 oclock my alarm screamed off(i was using a single 12mm halibut pellet with a fake corn on an hair) and the fish was on for half an hour and just kept tearing oiff line and i had never caught a cat before but just new this was not a carp and in the end it came into the net and it was the smaller one but it was at 48lbs. well chuffed.
  21. just got back and had myself about 100 fish with 70 being carp and 20 off them being catfish most of the cats were only 5lbs but there are two cats of 45lbs and 65lbs and luckly i had onh the second evening had the smaller catfish out at 48lbs 12ounces which was my first ever catfish also the biggest of my carp was 29lbs 4ounces and i had two 28lbs a 27lbs and many 22lbs upto 25lbs had a brilliant weeks fishing i also had a 4lbs 4ounces roach which was brilliant.
