hi folks i live in hastings and enjoy a bit of carp fishing from time to time,though the lake i usually fish at has had blue green algae for some time now roughly since august (just aswell i didnt buy a membership this year) this lake is not going to be ready till november at least ive been told by the bailiff.what id like to know if anyone knows the area where can i fish for carp thats a good place? id also like to add i am not all that experianced and have basic of gear so some where that would be good for me lol can anyone recommend another good fishery around the area? where i can purchase a day ticket and enjoy a good days fishing.i can travel as i have a car but wouldnt like to drive for hours if you know what i mean lol.

hi folks im looking to buy a cheap tank but where i stay theres limited shops etc etc,im after a corner tank something like a trigon or similar any help would be appreciated thanks

hi there im not sure what half tht means as i sed im really new lol i am using 10 pound mono line and when i buy a hair rig from the shop i use it once then i cant use it again as it frays also as 4 my hook knot all i do is thread the eye of the hook and tie a couple of knots lol

thanks guys n well my first problem will be in the winter i suppose gtn boilies on to hair rigs lol i tryed this without much sucsess also the hair rig tht i used to use were pretty crap ie after one use thy frayed i was wondering if u can get bigger hair rigs or thicker

hi folks i found this forum while browsing through the net my name is joe and im from hastings uk i have only been fishing for a year if that and until recently was catching tiddly winks lol until i spoke to sum one and thy told me of what bait to use etc so now i use porridge and sweetcorn on a cage i have only got the basic of gear and hopefully find this forum helpfull in the future thts it for now cheers
