i caught a 6lb tench last week without ground bait etc, just a small piece of bread around the hook and casted out next to a area of lillys

i know how to fish cos i have caught largish fish but never in lake

theres an alrite place in ince blundell

whats the best time for fishing for tench?

thanks mate, also if you use swinfeeders how do u get the keep the float on the top of the water without it being pulled under becasue that was another problem i had

i was fishing on size 12 using various bates like maggot sweetcorn hemp, but i only caught 1 fish in 7hours a small roach. i was doing float fishing.

i have been fishing in lakes on numerous occasions, used plenty of diferent method, but i never seen to catch anything, i have plenty of bites but none take it. is there anyone who could give me some advise about lake fishing?
